About us...
Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, I spent a huge part of growing up playing sport with rugby union opening up the opportunity to move to the UK in 2003.

Being so far away from South Africa and the way of life there, I soon became homesick for some real, good quality Biltong, so in order to cure the craving we would buy some of the supermarket packets but it didnt do justice to the real thing.
This is where it all began......I started with one unit to make Biltong for myself and friends but due to demand and the word spreading I now run multiple units enabling me to share Lake District Biltong providing a taste of Africa...made in Cumbria. My aim is to ensure each batch is made with dedication and hope you enjoy the product and thank you for your support.
